City of Rosario, HCWH Agree to Replace Chemicals in Hospitals

Arentina — HCWH and Global Green and Healthy Hospitals Founding Member, Rosario’s Department of Public Health (covering (52 municipal health centers, 5 hospitals, 2 maternities, and 1 ambulatory medical center) signed an agreement to promote the replacement of hazardous chemicals used in hospitals for safer alternatives.

The agreement, signed in the auditorium of the Dr. Roque Sáenz Peña Hospital (also Global Green and Healthy Hospital’s founding member), is a component of an HCWH project financed by UNEP’s Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management—SAICM to model sound chemicals management in the healthcare sector.
