International: Joint FAO/WHO Expert Meeting to Review Toxicological and Health Aspects of Bisphenol A
WHO – Over 30 experts attended the meeting to review toxicological and health aspects of BPA. This meeting was organized by WHO jointly with FAO, with the support of the European Food Safety Authority, Health Canada, the US National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and the US Food and Drug Administration. more

AFP – Parliamentarians from the Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group of nations on Thursday kicked off wide-ranging talks with their European Union counterparts in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
