HCWH Partner Organization, groundWork, will participate of a Health and Energy Policy Roundtable that will take place April 24th. The roundtable will bring together health professionals, researchers, and academics with energy policy experts to identify the health implications of current energy policy and systems in the Western Cape and South Africa, develop a position for a healthy energy policy and a collaborative strategy for mobilizing the health sector on energy and health impacts. more |

HCWH and Global Green and Healthy Hospitals Founding Member, Rosario's Department of Public Health (covering 52 health centers and 5 hospitals) signed an agreement to promote the replacement of hazardous chemicals used in hospitals for safer alternatives. The agreement, signed in the auditorium of the Dr. Roque Sãenz Peña Hospital (also Global Green and Healthy Hospital's founding member), is a component of an HCWH project financed by UNEP's Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management—SAICM to model sound chemicals management in the healthcare sector. more (in Spanish). |
